State Dept. Spokeswoman Jen Psaki Grilled Over CIA Torture Report

The State Department press corps on Wednesday grilled spokesperson Jen Psaki over the recently released Senate report on the CIA’s post 9/11 torture tactics. Despite repeated attempts to move on to a different topic, journalists for 20 minutes refused to let Psaki change the subject, challenging the spokeswoman on why the US will not prosecute the responsible parties, and whether the US has the right to challenge other countries on human rights abuses.
